Android
1. Download the signed APK
The file is autobot-1.10.0-release.apk. Android will ask you to allow installs from your browser or file manager.
2. Check the hash and the signer
# compare the full line with SHA256SUMS.txt
shasum -a 256 autobot-1.10.0-release.apk
# a5446a867ab1ddedc074b424fb237e621ac87671004a07b398924c9811e04766
# print the signing certificate
apksigner verify --print-certs autobot-1.10.0-release.apk
# signer SHA-256: 9a1378acf9587885e7920355558c85a1ec0e89304f58c153feebf90fdee7f3f1 The certificate is pinned in the repository. If the hash or the signer does not match, stop.
3. First run
- Open MODELS. The app measures RAM, free storage and CPU features, then labels each model FITS, TIGHT or TOO BIG.
- Download a model. Transfers resume with HTTP Range and are checked against the hub’s SHA-256. A mismatch deletes the file.
- Switch the network to Offline if you want. Chat, agents, images, voice and recipes continue on the phone.
- Optional: add a cloud provider. Turn on redaction and “phone first” if you want the local model to answer first.
iOS
TestFlight, app id ai.wckd.autobot. The app runs the same Kotlin Multiplatform core as Android: agent runtime, network policy, redaction, settings, model management and the .autobot export format.

Autobot Agent
The same agent as the phone’s, for a desktop or VPS. One script installs the agent and Invincible Gateway, verifies the release, installs llama.cpp if it is missing, and runs autobot setup. No root.
curl -fsSL https://invincible.sh/install.sh | sh What setup asks
- Network: offline, direct, Tor or SOCKS5 for the whole machine.
- Model: a Qwen open-weights model sized to the machine’s memory, or any
hf:GGUF. - Agent: its working directory, and whether turns stay on local models (the default).
- Telegram: optional. A bot token from @BotFather; approvals arrive as buttons.
- Background: launchd on macOS; systemd user units with linger on Linux.
Then:
autobot # chat in the terminal
autobot code # work in this directory
autobot doctor # check the gateway, model, tools and services macOS arm64, Linux x86_64 and arm64. Signed release, pinned key, reproducible Linux builds. Full gateway install notes ↗
Troubleshooting
The APK will not install
Autobot needs Android 14 or newer and an arm64 device. Check Settings → About phone. If an older Autobot build is installed with a different key, uninstall it first; the release key is autobot-release-2026.
The app opens but there is no model
That is the default. Open MODELS, pick a model marked FITS or TIGHT, and download it. Keep the screen on until the download completes if your device aggressively stops background work.
A download fails the hash check
The file is deleted and not used. Retry once. A repeated failure usually means a proxy, captive portal or truncated transfer; switch networks and try again.
Where is the network switch?
Privacy Center. The global mode starts at Offline. Direct, Tor and SOCKS5 are opt-in; each provider can override the route, but cannot downgrade a global Tor or SOCKS5 mode to Direct.
How do I check the agent’s install script?
The site serves a verbatim mirror with a recorded SHA-256. The upstream script checks a signed SHA256SUMS against a pinned key before installing. Manual commands are on Verify.
